Council structure
Naju-si council consists of 14 representative members of the civilians including 3 from GA district, 4 from NA district, 3 from DA district, 2 from RA district and 2 proportional members, who hold office for 4 years.

The council keeps one chairperson and one vice chairperson, who are elected by secret voting and take office for 2 years. The chairperson represents the council, presides the proceedings, keeps order in the meeting and supervise the bureau. The vice chairperson acts as a chairperson in the absence.

For efficient and swift agenda process, there are standing committees and special committees. The former ones consist of three committees such as steering committees, depending on the competence.
Every member, except the chairperson, shall be a member of standing committee and takes office for 2 years from the date appointed.

Each committee keeps one chairperson, who is elected by voting at the general meeting and keeps office for 2 years.

Bureau
The organ is responsible for the office work of council and assists the legislature of members. The secretary general, supervised by the chairperson, shall process the general affairs relating to the legislature such as steering the council.
Special members, also supervised by the chairperson, shall assist the steering of committees and proceedings, review the reconsideration of agenda and prepare the report.
